I have been photographing for a long time. I originally worked in the traditional black and white darkroom process but eventually migrated to the digital darkroom. Among my influences are photographers such as Edward and Brett Weston, Minor White, Elliott Erwitt, Michael Kenna, Marc Riboud, Wynn Bullock, Paul Caponigro and many others. Exploration and discovery of both the urban and natural landscapes has led me on my haphazard photographic journey. Sometimes I notice things in my nearby environment, other times in my travels to places like the desert southwest and the California coast.
